Sarah J. Mendonca

Sarah J. Mendonca (she/her) is a Portuguese-American author who writes dark and magical stories that help kids feel seen. Raised on her father’s bedtime stories, Sarah started writing about monsters at age eight and hasn’t stopped. She is an active member of SCBWI, a Pitch Wars alum, and winner of the A. Orr Fantasy Grant. You can find her haunting dark forests, lurking in bookshops, or buried underneath her enormous tea collection.
